A 120ft vessel, the Spirit of Freedom is one of Australia's largest live aboard dive boats with spacious entertainment areas, roomy cabins with private ensuites, and electronic stabilisers for the smoothest cruising. 

The Spirit of Freedom is the latest vessel to join the Tusa Dive fleet, who have been operating day and extended diving experiences wince 1986. 

The Spirit carries a crew of 8 experienced professionals who work together as a team to ensure that guests enjoy a safe and memorable dive cruise that surpasses all their expectations.

Vessel Information

3 Day 3 Night Cod Hole / Ribbon Reefs

This amazing 3 Day 3 Night dive adventure on board the Spirit of Freedom will take you to the famous Cod Hoel and the awe inspiring Ribbon Reefs of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef.  You will dive turquoise blue waters among an amazing chain of diverse coral reefs, where clouds colourful tropical fish, moray eels, reef sharks, turtles and giant potato cod abound.

• Day 1: Outer Great Barrier Reef before overnight travel to the Cod Hole.
• Day 2: Cod Hole and Northern Ribbon Reefs.
• Day 3: Ribbons Reef. overnight travel to Cairns.

Departs Cairns 12:00 noon Monday
Returns Cairns 07:30am Thursday
Suitability Catering to certified divers of all elvels and experienced snorkellers. No of dives 10.

4 Day 4 Night Coral Sea

Travel beyond the continental shelf (that harbours the Great Barrier Reef) to the isolated reef eco systems and crystal waters of Australia's Coral Sea.  Partake of dive adventures that will see you swimming with sharks and the large pelagics that cruise this undersea world of pinnacles and sheer walls rising from thousands of metres below.

• Day 1: Outer Great Barrier Reef before overnight travel to the Coral Sea.
• Day 2: Coral Sea Diving.
• Day 3: Coral Sea or Ribbons Reef. Overnight travel to Cairns.

Departs Cairns 12:00 noon Thursday
Returns Cairns 07:30am Monday

7 Day 7 Night Cod Hole and Coral Sea

This 7 day 7 night itinerary combines the 3 day cod hole and ribbons adventure and the 4 day 4 night coral sea adventure. 

Board the Spirit of Freedom and see the cod hole, ribbon reefs, and travel beyond the continental shelf that harbours the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy the opportunity for 24 dives, including 7 night dives.
