Siska Whitsunday Sailing

Siska: 80ft long and has a single mast, 106 feet high. Siska's impressive race record includes winning the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race as well as circumnavigating the world twice.

In 1994 Siska's interior was totally removed and remodeled to make Siska one of the most comfortable overnight MAXI charter yachts sailing the Whitsunday Islands. Siska has a full width saloon of 20ft with 12 single berths and four double berths. 

Siska has also won races in England, including being 1st at Cowes in the Queen Victoria Cup against 329 other entries with HRH Prince Charles as one of Siska's crew. Siska provides 3 day 2 night or a 2 day 1 night sailing adventures in the Whitsundays.

Siska has a myriad of winches and sailing gear that could baffle all but the most experienced crew, however, guests are welcome to assist sail Siska, including hoisting and trimming sails, or taking the helm to steer her around the islands. Each trip takes up to 22 guests on the adventure of a lifetime. Weekly maintenance keeps Siska in A1 condition with major refits occurring every 2 years to keep Siska looking great.

Siska's interior was custom built for Whitsunday Charters. This helps to make Siska one of the most comfortable Maxi Charter Yachts sailing the Whitsundays. 

Siska has ample head room throughout the yacht for even our taller guests. Two dining tables provide plenty of space for guests to enjoy meals together. This saloon area also doubles as a comfortable lounge area.

What To Bring:

Sunscreen, Hat, Camera, Swimwear and beach towel, Runners / Sandals, Change of clothes, jumper or jacket all in one soft carry bag.

What's Included:

• Courtesy bus transfers to and from you local accommodation to the marina.
• Snorkels, masks and instruction.
• Sheets, blankets, pillows and bath towels.
• All meals, freshly prepared by the crew.

A typical sailing adventure, you can expect to visit Blue Pearl Bay (Hayman Island), Nara Inlet, Mantaray Bay (Hook Island), Cataran Bay (Border Island), Whitehaven Beach, Cid Harbour (Whitsunday Island).

When you're not sailing, you will have the opportunity to swim with the tropical fish and snorkel the fascination coral reefs. There's also time to explore the beautiful beaches and islands.
