Mt Tamborine- Wander through the amazing Rain Forests of Tamborine
Mountain, as we search for cascading waterfalls and
crystal clear running mountain streams. See the amazing
strangler figs and Giant Flooded Fums in this awesome
rainforest setting. Piccabeen palm groves and strangler
figs feature in the Tamborine National Park.
Learn about the rain forest and it's former Aboriginal
ancestors, the way they worked together and lived in
harmony with the land. The Park is home to many animals
including the rare Albert's Lyrebird and one of the
world's largest skinks (lizzard) the land mullet. Spot a
scrub turkey at work as they rake the forest floow to
build their nest.
