The heart of the island is home to magnificent tropical rainforests,
gorgeous fresh water lakes, massive sand blows, crystal clear fresh water
creeks and some of the highest sand dunes in the world, reaching 240
meters in height as they emerge from the forest.

plant life species thrive in the many different eco systems throughout the
island, from scented wildflowers to massive, hundred year old trees, and
from the tiniest insect to the pure bred wild dingoes that still roam the
beaches.
