Day 1:
After your pickup from Hervey Bay, we make our way to River Heads for
the 30 minute barge crossing of the Great Sandy Straits.
Arriving on Fraser Island, we make our way to Central Station for a
stroll through the majestic rainforest where we will follow the silent
and visible waters of Wanggoolba Creek through to the natural beauty of
Pile Valley, where you will enjoy your morning tea.
We than make
our further across the island to 75 Mile Beach, heading north to Eli
Creek, where your driver will prepare your lunch, while you enjoy a
refreshing dip in the fast flowing waters of Eli Creek, or a game of
beach volley ball, and even just to sit back and read a book |

After lunch we will than head a little further
north to the Maheno shipwreck were you can
explore the ruins of the old, and than to the
Coloured sands, before we make our way back to
Eurong Beach Resort where we will check our
selves in for the night. |

Day 2:
After being served your continental breakfast by
your guide, we head north along the beach to the entrance of the Lake
Wabby walking track, where you will enjoy a scenic walk through the
coastal dune forest and across Hammerstone Sandblow to the islands
deepest barrage lake. After spending the morning swimming and relaxing
we make our way back down to the beach for our picnic lunch, before we
head back inland to the magical crystal clear waters of Lake Birrabeen,
were we will spend the afternoon soaking up the sun, swimming relaxing,
having a game of beach volley ball or cricket, before we make our way
across the island to meet our barge to take us back to Mainland
Australia. |
