Depending on tides and weather circumstances, your tour will also include some or all of the following:
ROUTE ONE: Disembarking from the sea ferry at Tangalooma beside the wrecks. From here we travel the 7 kilometres across the island through the splendid eucalypt forest before merging onto Eastern Beach.
ROUTE TWO: Provides culture and history beach tour as we travel the length of island on Eastern BEach visiting WW2 and aboriginal sites. Explore the village of Kooringal on the southern tip of the island, and we travel via Stradbroke Island with the chance to visit Amity Point and Brown Lake with its pure chaste white sand and naturally stained brown water by its bordering tea trees.
All tours provide invariable Island touring time which is roughly 5 to 6 hours.
Departs daily
Bring everything you require as you cant purchase much on the island e.g. any special needs, swimming gear, towel, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat, warm/wet weather jacket, torch, walking shoes and camera. For overnight perhaps alcohol and cigarettes. Bring your pillow if you need one and you will need a sleeping bag (or hire ours for just $6). Please keep luggage to a small pack.
Medium fitness level is required. There is no disabled access and children under 4 years not carried
