Don't miss this one time opportunity while in Queensland. See crocodiles in the wild on Proserpine Eco Tour's "Whitsunday Crocodile Safari". The tour travels along the Proserpine River, for a day full of adventure and excitement in the realm of saltwater crocodiles.  Vast expanses of local estuaries and wetlands stretch further inland from Airlie Beach. See many species of wildlife including birds, mammals, marine animals and reptiles. Proserpine River Eco Tour's base is located on the banks of the Proserpine River, surrounded by natural estuary vegetation including mangroves and forest. The tour base offers a covered campsite with seating and tables, toilet facilities and refreshments. The friendly guides on the tour will help you to learn and understand the marine eco system of the river as you spot crocodiles on the banks of the river.  A guided nature walk (dependant on the weather) is available for those who wish to take a closer look at the surrounding wildlife around the campsite.  An all weather tour, the crocodile safari carries a maximum of 30 passengers and are the only commercial tour operating on the Proserpine River.
